I am a Special Education Teacher by day and a travel business owner by night. As an educator I enjoy teaching my students about the world outside themselves, but also learning about their culture, their language, their food. As a Travel Advisor I get the same feeling, I love being able to teach and learn about different places.

The name "Island Child" comes from my love of the Caribbean Islands or West Indies and the joy it brings me whenever I visit. The pristine beaches, the cool breeze, the food, the music, and the vibe. It also comes from the immense pride I have in my island heritage.
